As we all know, the earth is surrounded by various layers to protect us from harmful radiations. One such layer is ozone layer. The ozone layer acts like a shield and protects us form harmful UV radiations. 

These UV rays can cause serious problems, such as, skin cancer and cataracts in humans. It is also responsible to cause reproductive problems in fish, carbs, and frogs.

It is observed that, since 1983, the ozone layer is depleting at a scary fast rate. The reason being, increased use of chemicals, mainly chromine and bromine for various activities.

The recent scientific report have shown that the ozone layer is gradually healing. Furthermore, we can do our bit to get the ozone layer back.
